It's the "2" after the hyphen that counts

Deposit systems must be certified to EN 1143-2 - otherwise no protection against manipulation

FRANKFURT/Main - April 2012. Sometimes, it is just one figure that counts - as far as the European Standard EN 1143-2 for deposit systems is concerned, it's the "2" after the hyphen. In contrast to the EN 1143-1, the EN 1143-2 requires additional resistance to manipulation. Without this extra protection, deposit safes and night safes for banks, department stores, chain stores or the automobile industry are insecure.
